No Christmas Cards This Year!

We won’t be popping round to our clients with chocolates, or sending clients Christmas cards,  not because we are Grinches , but because we had a better idea this year….

Last November someone sent us an email stating simply that they were taking all the money that they usually spend on client gifts postage and cards at Christmas, to donate to their local Food Bank.

We are not really ones for shouting from the rooftops about charitable donations, but we got this idea from someone else, and if it means that our local Food Bank gets a donation, we don’t mind copying and passing on the inspiration. Maybe it will inspire you to donate too.

Speaking to our local food bank in Wallingford recently, we were told that they have seen a 60% rise in requests for food this past year as it continues to have been exceptionally difficult times for local families, with the rise in costs of fuel and food.

It may surprise you to find out that a high percentage of these requests to food banks across the country come from working families.
